Got Me F-cked Up

Ummmm. Everybody got facebook, right? I mean I have one, I'm sure you do too right? Right...

So what permits a stranger friend requesting me? I know the whole point of facebook is a social-networking tool, but I mean it's at every user's discretion.

For me, my page is totally private. You can't really search and find me easily. And even to contact me you have to add me as a friend first. But I still manage to get at least 10-20 new friend requests every time I log on to facebook.

On top of that I don't really like getting friend requests from people I know that I'm not necessarily cool with.

Now everyone knows me, I'm Jo Smiles. Friendly, outgoing, happy, just fun. But not everyone likes that, and that's cool. I know people who have met me but for their own personal reasons kept it at that and do no speak or make eye contact with me when they see me. And that's fine, do what you does, but why are you adding me on facebook?

I'm not going to message you. I got no pictures of you to tag. I'm not going to leave you any comments, so what are you doing?

That's where people get me confused for the next one. I reject REAL quick. Reject, reject, reject! I think it's actually more courteous than me accepting your add. Cause you know what usually happens next if I was to accept? You accept someone you ain't necessarily friends with, then they spend their life on-line leaving [hate] comments, starting e-beef, writing obscene things in your honesty box and your friends.

I honestly don't see the point of it all. Keep your facebook simple. Find your friends, people who grew up with you, those who lived on your block, went to grade school, highschool or college, etc. And leave it at that. Cause if you f-ck around and try to add me and I don't know you, you just wasted 5 minutes.
