Yes, a gimmick. Either they did this all for show/publicity or Rihanna clearly is suffering from a severe/extreme disorder.

Chris, you allegedly held a meeting between yourself and all your family and close friends and announced the END of you and Rihanna and basically declared that you needed to stay a free man and everyone needs to look out for you, their "homeboy".

You can't tell me that, Chris beat it up like gorillas on you you pressed charges, he might go to jail, the pictures came online, he's going to plead for self-defense and you guys are back together.
