SOTB: Day26 - So Good ♥

I'm sorry, please tell me if I'm crazy.

So today I'm outwith an acquaintance in Silver Spring, he wants to order take-out from Red Lobster, I'm cool with that cause my friend works there. So I'm there chit chatting with my friend when she has to handle some business, and this acquaintance holds his bill and goes, "Here you go you got this." No, not in a joking manner but like a, "for real give me the money" face.



Had me standing in Red Lobster like, "You must be crazy." So I take a step back and say to myself I say, "Self, he's an acquaintance, it's not that serious. Don't kirk, just be polite so that he'll realize he's being a loose booty hole." So I go, "So I guess (his job) isn't paying you well? I'll cover if you don't have any money." In the most polite voice ever, BUT the bartender (a dude) and the two dudes sitting next to him, looked at him like



"Ah! This fool, poor!" And I'm not even exaggerating. His face looked hurt and he chuckled and said, "*Mcch* can't take a joke? I'm straight."

So then my friend comes back to chat and he goes, "EH-EM!" I realize, yes I'm being a tad rude and I introduce them. Two minutes...TWO MINUTES later we leave Red Lobster and he bumps into some friends (2 girls, 1 guy) and is bunned up with one of the girls. So I'm standing there smiling and say hi to the other two, carrying on small talk and the other girl goes, "Hi (stanky face)." So of course I had to kill her with the kindness and I said, "Wow, your haircut is so gorgeous. But how are you today?" You know the charm killed her and she was all on my NUTS that I don't have.



(Sigh) I win again. So then we continue on our way, he gets a text from the friends (who I think said wonderful things about me) and he goes, "Ugh, don't say hi to my friends!" Homie, why you mad? I've been nothing but nice to you and your friends so it ain't my fault they like me! Sh-t!

I know some might be thinking, "Jo, why are you wasting your time with an acquaintance, someone that you sound like you don't even like."

Well, you're right. I don't know why I put up with it today. Well I actually do, but it's bout to sound shallow like sh-t.

See what happened was, I hadn't seen him in a LONG time like since round the first time I met him, so I didn't remember if he was cute or not so I thought let me go catch up with him and see. Plus I got to see my friends.

And no, he WASN'T.
